False in Some Sense
Reverend Mortimer Caulfield
You wander down the road when you find a lone tent where none stood before.
It’s possible that you just encountered the Reverend.
Nobody knows him, but he already knows you. He preaches loudly about the Lord. Plays his guitar. And guards secret knowledge.
He doesn’t have all the answers. But if you take a quest from him, God just might tell him what you need to know.
It’s obvious that something’s wrong with him, though. Lilith and Paul found references to him in three different books, placing him in the 1960s, the 1930s, and the 1870s. He is described the same way in each era; same age, same look, same aggressive form of Prosperity Doctrine.
